Report by Imelda March & Corie Berrigan

(Chicago, IL – May 7, 2007) This past weekend, Team Kenda Tire headed to the State of Indiana to partake in road race and criterium races. The team had a successful weekend earning top ten finishes on both days. Specifically, in the Saturday’s Circuit Road Race Corie Berrigan, Kris Over, Karen Drennan and Imelda March finished 2nd, 5th, 8th and 9th respectively.

Things heated up in Sunday’s Village Road Criterium in which a number of top talent showed up to mix it up. Again, the team placed 3rd (Corie Berrigan), 5th (Kris Over), 6th (Imelda March) and 9th (Karen Drennan).

We send our greatest appreciation and thank you to Greg Demopolulos (Race Director) and the Lancaster family to warmly opening their beautiful home to host the group of four women riders. Also thank you to all the volunteers & locals who enthusiastically supported this event.

The group was elated to find out that the Village at Winona Lake was filled with great restaurants, boutiques bike paths, bike trails and a superb landscape. With that in mind we are definitely looking forward to visiting and spending more time enjoying the amenities that the Village at Winona Lake has to offer.
