Report by Chris Kelly(1.25mi. circuit with 16 laps in Sterling, VA) Chris and Janelle lined up with a larger than expected field of strong regional teams. The pace was fast from the start. After several laps Chris managed to make it into a break of three riders. Within the next 2 laps 3 riders bridged across and the six were off. The break worked well together until the last 2 laps. The team with 2 riders represented started attacking the break. Ultimately this worked out well for them. Chris Kelly ended up 6th. Janelle Hubbard took 2nd in the field sprint for 8th. A beautiful day to race a bike!
