(Saturday, July 14, 2007 - Chantilly, VA) Janelle, Heidi, Marni and Jennifer (guess riding in her 2nd race with Team Kenda Tire) couldn’t pass up this D20 race in their own backyard.

The horseshoe shaped Chantilly Criterium challenged racers with an uphill finish. Mother nature challenged racers with hot temps and a little wind to go with that uphill finish. Our field of 30 women put on an aggressive show with attacks being launched consistently. But, just as often the attacks were followed up with a little soft peddling and a little coasting by those in the break…which brought it all down to a field sprint.

Janelle raced to 2nd, Heidi flew in at 4th, Marni drafted a wheel all the way for 7th and Jennifer flattened the hill for 10th.
